BIG QUESTION...
why we need  bgp conditional advertisement???

MY SUGGESTION.
suppose your company is multi-homed  with different ISP's. let say,  for the backup or redundant purpose, your company is connected to two ISP named  ISP X and ISP Y. ISP X is much slower link ( T1 link).
as a network administrator  what you want  is all traffic should follow ISP Y link as its much faster.
to fulfill these dreams, you need to play with your internet facing router and do some interesting things with it...
you can fulfill these dream by two methods.
1. advertise-map with exist-map   or
2. advertise-map with non-exist-map

TASK1 

IN this section we  are going to discuss about advertise-map with non-exist-map. HOW THEY WORK TOGETHER.

let begin.. following is our scenario.

Note*  
a > 192.168.0.0/24 is your company LAN address
b>  10.10.12.0/24 is WAN address between R1 and R2( your router to ISP X  or LINK A)
c>  10.10.13.0/24 is WAN address between R1 and R3( your router to ISP Y or LINK B)

SCENARIO 1
LINK A is connection from ISP X and is much slower link, what you want is as long as LINK B is exist or up, traffic should follow LINK B ( through ISP Y), or  you never want traffic should follow LINK A. if LINK B goes down then traffic should automatically follow LINK A..

what we are going to do here is
> let say,ISP Y advertising prefix 30.30.30.0/24 to you, as long as this prefix is in your router's RIB, you are not going to switch incoming traffic through LINK A.
>once LINK B goes down and this prefix is removed from your router's RIB,  then you are going to switch incoming traffic through LINK A.

R1 config.

we have completed basic peering configurations.

ON R1, we will configure following prefix-list and route-maps.

 you might be confused why i used community-list here,, good reason is, i just wanted to track whether prefix 30.30.30.0/24 is come from ISP Y. or R3 or not.

if this prefix is truly come from R3, prefix is set with community 300:100.

as i configure all incoming prefixes from ISP Y should be set community value 300:100,

i just confirmed below.

 

VERIFICATION.

 1. Before LINK B is down.

Prefix 30.30.30.0/24 is R1 routing table.

 HENCE :: R1 is not advertising prefix 192.168.0.0/24  to R2. check below,

2. After LINK B goes down.

 I just simulated that prefix 30.30.30.0/24 is stop advertise in bgp in R3.

 Now Prefix 30.30.30.0/24 is removed from R1 routing table.

3. now R1 is advertising prefix 192.168.0.0/24  into LINK A or R2.

studying  about CCNP and CCIE brings you complete package of knowledges to act upon this earth, but its need great dedication and sacrifice lot of effort. cisco is not only a affiliated body to offering networking programe, there area some others too, like JUNIPER and  ect,
i will put detail about CCNP and CCIE in the next post.

How to improve learning skill, how to improve study skills.

Here by quoting the great proverb, Learning is a treasure that follow its owner everywhere.  
Since I was child I always have great patient of riding horse even it's not a easy task  of my age. But  I was never learnt that doing unexpected things at unexpected age is anyway wrong too.here goes my brief story about my childhood patient,even though i was repeatedly denied to ride horse by my Dad,i have done this  secretly by going far away from home and ride horse i find in wild,may be owned by some other family, i did this through almost a year and  in the meantime i got little skill and confident, do you believed me? that time i was 8 years old. finally i proved my skill of riding horse on the even of racing horse during special horse racing festival. how much i was happy on that day by getting good comments from public, but little bit afraid of my Dad too,  How many of you come up with your childhood dream left behind and still unsatisfied and still thought of fulfill those dreams in someday. This is what I want to mention you that, if you put fear, you are about to go loser and left behind all the time. So always be the first one to do things which you dreamt for  and always be the one who want to explore your interest in different way . Actually this post is all about HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR LEARNING METHOD.
Different people have different method of learning skill. For the best, you should acknowledge yourself first that what you are going to learn about. Coz you cannot be a master of all things in all together, even Einstein is only genius in  physic and mathematics, remember !!!!

Suppose you are going to improve learning method or skill about Mathematics. Here you have few things to remember:

1. MIND SETUP.
Initial mind setup is the foremost method for doing anything. its very important to  Make a mind, complete about mathematics, coz you sincerely want to improve  skill in mathematics,and  make it worth benefit for you.

2.  MATERIAL YOU NEED.
Going empty hands for war is just a psycho or fool at all. Same for here, you need enough material to learn  and improve skills. At least two different  mathematics guide books from different authors so that you  could compare problem solving techniques and tactics, anyway 21 century is age of internet, and  most of home must have set up some connection. if you are connected with Internet , then you are free to access complete online library related t mathematics, do u imagine that, thousands of mathematicians have freely contributed  great details about solving skills,and techniques and shared available resources too, so no need to worry.

3. TIME TABLE.
 Schedule is the most important among all.you cannot be a good learner if you are not strictly with your schedule.coz most of people feel that learning at time when they got interest is the perfect way to boost learning skills,, actually this is  very very wrong. because something is too tough to learn and understand, then your brain never stimulate you to go with  that subject, rather it's warns you to stay away from touching them. To make yourself a habitual learner, also don't  forget to check your schedule regularly. make a proper time table and maintain schedule properly.for the first time you may feel caged, but gradually you will get good habit, and you are almost done.

4. BREAK TIME. OR REST TIME
Taking 10 to 15  minutes break during study time is also  a good way of boosting your skill of learning. Reason being, our brain is not a computer, it's need rest to process what you have learnt.
having coffee and eating snakes make you more fresh. even its good to do some body stretching, a sort of body exercises which give you some relaxed muscle and helps to  better blood circulation.

5. SELECTING GOOD STUDY ENVIRONMENT.
 Selecting good study environment also  helps you to boost learning skill, like calm and peaceful environment give  us great  way of complete concentration,and proper attachment. but some people may prefer study in noisy or congested room. it depends. So adapt yourself according to your way you feel best..

6. AVOID ACCESSING  SOCIAL SITES DURING STUDY TIME.
last but not the least..during your study time, try to avoid  search engine and watching movies,  TV and Facebook ,  now a day almost every body is getting involved with social site and spending huge of amount of time chatting and posting, and uploading photos. this is good and favorable or enjoyable  during leisure time.  because these snatch away your interest of learning and sitting with books. you may have  experiences of staying whole night with facebook,tweeter and so and so..  completely forgot about  your assignment...
